Yayoi Kusama is curated by Frances Morris, Head of Collection, International Art, Tate with Rachel Taylor, Assistant Curator, Tate Modern.
The exhibition is supported by Louis Vuitton with additional support from The Yayoi Kusama Exhibition Supporters Group and Tate International Council.
The exhibition has been organised by Tate Modern in association with the Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofia, Madrid; the Centre Pompidou, Paris and The Whitney Museum of American Art, New York.
2011.12.2. The Galaxy Awards
3 hour special program “The world is waiting for me. The avant-garde artist, Yayoi Kusama runs at full speed.” won the prize in TV division of the first half-year Galaxy Awards.
The winner of the year will be anounced in June, 2012.

Comment by Hisashi Hozumi, Assistant Director of fmoca, was placed on the Lifestyle magazine, Pen, entitled "We Love Kusama Yayoi" in 2010.
The special number on the artist, Yayoi Kusama, will be published as a separate volume.

We are pleased to announce that collection work of FMOCA will be presented at a major retrospective monographic exhibition focussing on Yayoi Kusama.
Works are premiered at the Reina Sofia in Madrid in summer 2011 and touring thereafter to the Centre Georges Pompidou, Paris;Tate Modern, London;and the Whitney Museum of American Art, New York.
The exhibition will present an overview of the remearkable six-decade career of this pre-eminent Japanese artist.FMOCA collection work will be exhibited as strong examples of Kusama's painting from the 1990s.
